was presented the2010 Friend of Agriculture Award. Laura
Wood Habr, owner ofCroc's Bistro on 19th Streetand a member of our Buy Fresh Board of Directors, was
honored with aSpecial Recognition Award
BFBLHR was a participant in Jack
Johnson's "All At Once" tour, which raises money for local charities. We created this video, which was posted
on the All At Once website. Everytime the video was viewed, Jack Johnson's foundation donated $1 to BFBLHR. In November
BFBLHR was gifted $2500 by the All At Once Foundation.
In November
2010, WVEC, Channel 13 News did a story covering BFBLHR's Farm to Feast Week Event where local restaurants feature fixed-price,
three course meals incorporating fresh, local produce, seafood and meats. Restauranteur Todd Jurich and BFBLHR Volunteer,
Tanya Banks talk about why this event is so important for Hampton Roads.
