September 15-17 the Buy Fresh Buy Local National Gathering was hosted by the Hampton Roads chapter at the Virginia Beach Resort and Conference Center on Shore Drive. Chapters from all over the country gathered in our own Virginia Beach for three days of workshops, local eats and good times.

At the reception Thursday night, the Hampton Roads Chapter received an award for "Best new Chapter" due to our rapid growth, enthusiasm and fantastic work at hosting the Gathering.

A big thanks to the VB Resort and Conference Center and Chef John Mclure for their hard work in sourcing locally and providing a gracious space for us to use.
